Nowadays growing Irri rice is very profitable and most of the farmers of our country like to grow IRRI. The rice of Barisal, Rajshahi and Dinajpur is very fine. It grows better and in plenty in our country.

How grown : At first our farmers plough the land well. Then they sow seeds. The plants grow very quickly. Within three or four months the paddy ripens. Then our farmers cut them. After reaping the paddy it is brought home. It is then threshed and separated from the hay. It is dried in the sun. We get rice when the dried paddy is husked.
